Recovery looks different for everyone. At Awakening Healing Center, I provide clinical massage and lymphatic-focused bodywork to support the body through different stages of recovery.

🩺 Cosmetic Surgery Recovery

I offer supportive post-operative care for select cosmetic procedures, including:

• Abdominal liposuction
• Back liposuction
• 360 liposuction
• Tummy tuck / abdominoplasty
• Mommy makeovers involving abdominal procedures
• Post-operative swelling and fluid management
• Scar tissue and fibrosis work once appropriate for healing
• Gentle lymphatic drainage based on your stage of recovery

Important: If you are having or have had cosmetic surgery, please contact me before scheduling. I need to know the procedure you are having, your surgery date, and where you are in your recovery. Not every cosmetic procedure is offered at my practice.

🦴 Orthopedic & Injury Recovery

I also work with clients recovering from injuries and orthopedic conditions, using techniques tailored to their individual needs, including:

• Myofascial release
• Trigger point therapy
• Clinical massage
• Gentle lymphatic techniques when appropriate
• Scar tissue mobilization
• Soft-tissue work following injury or orthopedic procedures
• Support for mobility, tissue restrictions, and muscular tension

My approach is clinical, individualized, and focused on helping you feel more comfortable in your body as you heal.

Whether you're recovering from surgery, an injury, or an orthopedic issue, the goal isn't simply to “work on the sore spot.” It's to understand what your body is doing and choose techniques appropriate for where you are in the healing process.

If you are seeking massage or lymphatic drainage following cosmetic surgery, please contact Awakening Healing Center before scheduling your appointment at 571-205-5869.

I need to know:

  • The specific procedure(s) you had or are planning to have

  • Your surgery date (or planned surgery date)

  • Your surgeon's post-operative instructions

  • How far you are into your recovery

Post-operative care is individualized, and not all cosmetic procedures are appropriate for treatment in my practice. A consultation prior to booking allows me to determine whether I can safely and appropriately provide care for your particular procedure and stage of recovery.
